Alternative Dispute Resolution

Workplace, Employment, DEI and Compliance-Driven Mediation

As mediators, we help resolve disputes or misunderstandings between parties by facilitating constructive communication and problem-solving. Our goal is to create mutually acceptable solutions and restore trusting relationships.

Our mediators are trained in implicit bias, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed techniques. They are skilled at guiding tough conversations with impartiality to understand complex interests and uncover unresolved problems. With backgrounds in internal investigations, litigation, and arbitration, they bring an acute level of strategy, sensitivity and neutrality to dispute resolution.

Our law group specializes in resolving workplace disputes, compliance matters, and interpersonal breakdowns in business,  guiding parties to discover mutually acceptable, durable solutions.

Workplace, Employment, DEI, and Compliance-Driven Mediation

Mediating complaints prior to opening a formal investigation has multiple advantages, depending on the nature of the conflict.

Advantages of Mediation in Place of Investigation

Preserves Relationships

Mediation focuses on collaborative problem-solving, making it more likely to preserve or even improve workplace relationships.

Empowers the
Parties

Empowers the parties to shape their own agreement, increasing satisfaction and commitment to the resolution.

Focuses on Interests, Not Fault

Mediation emphasizes addressing the underlying needs and interests of both parties, fostering creative solutions.

Reduces Workplace Disruption

Mediation is typically a quieter process that minimizes disruptions to team dynamics and day-to-day operations.

While mediation offers many advantages, it may not be appropriate in situations involving serious misconduct, violations of law, or power imbalances where one party feels unsafe or unable to advocate for themselves. In such cases, we recommend a formal investigation to ensure fairness and compliance with legal or organizational standards.
